Mr. PDF Desk

Mr. Tech provides the application interface and integration. The open-source engines, fonts, authorship and original licenses remain with their respective owners. No upstream copyright is reassigned.

• EmbedPDF PDFium 2.15.1 — local WebAssembly rendering, inspection and source text object removal. Wrapper license · PDFium and dependency notices.
• pdf-lib 1.17.1 — PDF writing and embedded fonts. MIT license.
• fontkit (@pdf-lib/fontkit) 1.1.1 — font parsing, subsetting and OpenType shaping. The upstream package declares MIT and distributes its license declaration through its README and metadata, retained here: original README · original package metadata. The UMD bundle is wrapped in an ES module without changes to its implementation. It includes pako: pako license.
• bidi-js 1.0.3 — Unicode bidirectional layout. MIT license.
• HarfRust 0.13.3 — local Arabic fallback shaping for embedded fonts without OpenType joining rules. The Mr. Tech WebAssembly wrapper retains upstream authorship and licenses: shaper and dependency notices.

Fonts are loaded from the shared Mr. Tech Fonts Manager. Each bundled family has its original license beside its font file; uploaded fonts remain subject to their owners’ licenses.

PDF processing runs in a local browser worker. Document files are not sent to a remote PDF service. The editor supports direct horizontal text objects; it does not perform OCR or secure redaction.
